The project was run over the period of 13 weeks during summer 2018. It involved almost 20 participants throughout the workshops at different times. There were 13 workshops for residents and local participants and 2 workshops for local children. The project brought local public to the area of Grantstown (into the space of the local as well as into the adjacent bungalow during workshops). The content of the project consisted of looking into the geographical location of Grantstown and creating a representational map of the area.
The map was then inlayed into a table top and will remain in the Daycare Centre as a functional piece of furniture. There was a small ceremony at the end of the project where the table was presented in the church/community centre. Other small outcomes of the workshops and the processes were also presented.
